Life continues past the months of June, July, and August and so must the counselors of Day Camp.

Alright!

Fine... I'll do it! No one has posted in a couple of days so I'll step up and do it. A few things:

1) I'm fired up for summer! I can use prayer as I close up the quarter, get moved out of my house and make the long trek down to MH. It was crazy last year and really stressful so hopefully it won't be again. It should be better.

2) I'm also really excited for Jav and Jayber. I've been thinking alot about you guys lately and how great it is you are getting married. That is awesome and I can't wait for it to all happen!

3) Gator is comming back! It will be good to have him around. Also, I'm thankful for Gator being such a great guy and mailing me DVD's and books. It's really appreciated so thanks buddy! If you need me to mail you something just say the word.

4) The NBA playoffs have been great so if you have missed them you are missing out! I can fill anyone in if they care. Lebron is the best player in the league right now and it's crazy to watch him.

5) This has been by far the worst REAL WORLD season ever! I'm disappointed and think it sucks... but I still watch every episode.

6) Pray for Kyle Stuckey. If you don't know him he is my best friend and is going to be Junior High Director this year. He didn't do JH last summer but he did work alot with the kids. I know he will do great but it will be a new challenge.

7) Hope everyone else is doing good. Fish- good luck this summer working on a campaign and changing the world. Spidey- I trust god has a plan for you even if it isn't a Day Camp and congrats again and the girl. Don't rush into anything to crazy though. Frodo, Montana, Who, Indy, Bro and Lark- Glad you are all returning and I know we will do great with the new staff. Snaps- how your mom got more bling and that situation worked out and good luck this summer. Everyone else... love you too!

Hoopah for Daff. You are certainly one of the reasons why I'm sad that I won't be at camp this summer. It's going to be awesome, and I just hope I'll be in California so I can drop by and visit.

daff... lets just say amy's cousin brought home some friends from washington and mary was also around to meet them... all three of us immediately agreed-- "they're all like daff... are all washington boys the same? we all miss daff" because even though they REMINDED us of you, you were way too classy for these characters, but really, i miss you. but i'll see you a couple times. promise.

p.s. real world is looking for a whole new house of people... would you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fill out an application? who's all in on this???

Best post ever, I think. Don't know why, but it's just really exactly what I wanted to read at the moment I read it. I can't wait to see you, Daff, and everyone else who's coming back. Mer and I will most certainly be by the old Mount Her Man.

Someone needs to find out how to get Daff on Real World.

He can be the buff jock guy, but he will get into conflicts because he is a bit of a "line-pusher" but comes from a conservative Christian background. Does that sound like an MTV-style conflict just waiting to happen. They're going to make sure he sleeps right beneath the gay guy -- and it's on!

Daff! Daff! Daff! Daff! Daff!

I guess Gator was right - it is a good thing you'll be single this summer. We need to put you into training mode for the Real World audition.

Ditto to all of the above. I just wanna be there when you cross the line in a skit, you're by far the best up-and-coming line crosser I can think of.*

*when it comes to skits; when it comes to pranking, I can think of none better than Scout (DCM04!)

Thanks for props guys, I guess it is a complement to be ok on the RW. I don't know how great I would do though... I completely agree with Fish. Fairly conservative christian, still struggles in certain aspects of his faith but getting better all the time, fairly blunt, gay guys and stupid scandalous hooker roomates. Hmmmm... I would probably choke someone or get choked.
Gator could film my video to send in though.
No buff jock or line pusher... I'm more of a book reading boutique shopper who likes a fine wine :).
- Spiff, Can't push the line more than deedee last year(or can I). jk

Hey sorry I haven't said anything for a bit. No internet and all. Thanks Daff I'm not too worried, the most concern I have is towards boredom. But the amount of action that has been going down as of late has dispelled that fear to a great degree. (And summer staff time hasn't even started yet!)

Things I'm seriously looking forward too:

>Hanging out with Daff. I know that in light of the post I writing to it looks like I'm kissing ass, But I'm serious. I feel like I didn't get to hang out with you as much as I would have liked. Mano y Mano

> Raisin Skit: thing I miss most is the way Bruin says " I love being a raisin" but all Bruiny.

>Hugging/Cuddling with Frodo. Not much expanding needed there.

>NO MORE CRAFT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! IN YOUR FACE BEADED FLOWERS!!! SUCK IT!!!! ahem...sorry.

that's it.

Is the grammar regulation faster or slower than it is with Spidey? Curious...

Personally, I've given up on correcting grammar - after grading a whole mess of English Comp. essays, I've had my fill. So, Daff: I are silly. And your silly to.

That's really funny because every time I post something I really try and focus on my grammar so I don't get crap from anyone.

No worries, we all do it (at least I know I do). I get antsy about it sometimes too. I can typically get the grammar down, but I'm a terrible speller, and punctuation isn't quite my deal. We do what we can.

I feel - somehow - like this anxiety is all my doing. Just so everyone's aware: I'm finished. Conduct all the grammar/spelling experiments you want; I won't even smirk. (Seriously, I'm just trying to love - rather than judge - my friends. More and more apparent is the fact that I need to let my overly critical personality go.)
