I don't really know how to sum up the last 24 hours. I've been hired to do video work for Conference Center this summer. It'll be great and it'll be weird for exactly the reasons you'd expect.

well, this might've influenced my day camp decision...then again, enough things this for this summer have started to come together to make my decision seem valid.

Oh My Gosh! I think that's the most awesome thing I've heard this year! You'll set such a high standard for the next guy though!

I didn't even know they had a video guy! sweeeetah! This means everyone i need to see will be there when we come up in july.

spiffers, you should come with your church, we'll hang out that week! then it would be perfect. almost. except for all the people who won't be in the area... who i will miss dearly.

Well, now I know where I stand. [sob]

Fantastic, Mr. Fox - you'll be much loved at camp, I know. And now I have another reason to come visit. (Not that, unlike Chilly, I would've stayed away w/o all my peeps around.)

Aside to everyone but Gator: notice how every picture Gator takes of himself is somber, serious, and composed? Like he's about to tell you that you have cancer? There's something inimitably cool about that, dontcha think?

This is definitely one of my personal favorites. I would put it on my computer as a desktop, but I worry that I would only grow increasingly jealous every time I saw it.

So the Day Camp rules video lives on. I was beginning to think we would have to do a puppet show. I'm stoked you'll be there.

You know Gator? Looking back I've relized that I shouldn't give much merit to "This one's the last year" you say it.

SO EXCITED!!!!

In reply to Fish's comment, my desktop is actually covered with a pic of G8R (I think) in a cool house with a very cool light display) some exposure trick I'm sure. Want to explain it, G8R?

Old SLRs and newer digitals can pull it off. You've got to leave the shutter speed open (those ones were at 15 seconds; most shots'll you'll take are in the fraction-of-a-second range). While it's open you can, say, dance spasmodically to rap with a flashlight in one hand. The camera will pick up the path of the light for fifteen seconds.

And that's everything I know about cameras.
