The Streets
No one wants to miss this. I wanted to make sure that I passed the information along as soon as I had it. Yes, The Streets are going to be in America, and I'm going to the concert on June 10th here in LA. He (they) will be at the Henry Fonda Theater, and it's going to be amazing. Jenny and I got our tickets today, but they are general admission, and so if anyone wants to join us - you can get your own ticket online and join us. Some of my friends up here at school are probably going as well, and it will be a good crew. The tickets are only $30, and I'm sure you can google it or check out Ticketmaster.
Word is they also have a concert on the 9th up in San Francisco and I think there may be some people headed up there to that one. Don't miss it - British rap doesn't come everywhere in America.
That's my public service announcement.
And I just realized, if you don't know who The Streets are - then nevermind; you're not cool enough to come anyway. HA!

forget the streets, lady sovereign is the opening act and if you've never seen a sub-5 foot british white girl rap over intense grime/d&b beats before, well, then you're in for a treat. serious. i saw her at coachella 2 weekends back and she's the only reason i am thinking of catching the sf show, i hear mike skinner (the streets) is kinda lacking live. but lady sovereign had an entire tent of people screaming for someone they couldn't even see.

Snaps, go to these links about MySpace to see why I think it is stupid. Then think of how foolish mallrats look to normal people when you're window-shopping for friends online. And call me sometime. Well now I don't know what to think.
On the one hand, Spiff deserves to be caned for how ornery he's been this last week. On the other, he's now brandishing his angry stick at MySpace, a cause I can always jump behind.

I'm done, just doing RA stuff 'til Sunday night and then heading for home late Sunday night (you know I love driving at night). Your quarter isn't over yet, is it?

Nope. 5 more weeks. It will be a hellish few, with a slight pause, and then some more. My break will most likely be consumed with working cause that is when we have the primary. All to say - it's a long sprint to the end, but I'm looking forward to it.
