And here we are - - - with a degree of finality finally at hand - - - - the announcement is: Gator is going to be talked about in Westly's speech Saturday at the California Democratic Convention. This is big considering that the convention is the single most important event in the Democratic primary, and the speeches from each of the major candidates will be their major efforts to lay out a coherent policy agenda. Gator is going to be recognized for his accomplishment in teaching, and that he is supporting Westly's gubernatorial candidacy. It will be pretty cool, and I will definitely direct you to a link of the texts where he is talked about after it happens. You may even be able to watch it on tv somewhere (probably c-span or something else). If I find it, then I'll post it here to let you know.
