Yo, Day Camp. I just shared scintillating conversation about life, love, and German neo-realistic cinema with Michael K. (okay, he did most of the talking on that last point) over some pretty lousy Vietnamese soup. (Thanks for the recommendation, amigo.) Just before that I caught up on Life With Spiff, with my host, Spiff! So, I'm basically set for the upcoming work week.

It was not lousy Vietnamese soup, you ingrate. It was fantastic(!) Vietnamese soup. Butthead.
Aside: Fellas' (ladeez too I guess), we need to get together before MH and take advantage of the lack of contract, i.e. smoke some cigars and drink some (root) beer.

Mike: I'm not into alcohol really (yet), but how bouts we aquire some romeo y julietas (churchills) and watch the sun set from Santa Cruz...puff puff. Sounds good if you're down for it. Maybe we could drag Burt into it too.

I'm more than willing, Spiff. School ends for me on the 19th. The 23rd - June 1st I'm spending with my brother. Anytime otherwise is good (and you know what, even during that week or so with my brother - he'd be more than down for a drive to Santa Cruz, Davis, So-Cal, etc. Also: we have a pretty nice house in Alameda (bay area, near Oakland if you didn't know), and my brother and I will be the only occupants 26th - 1st. It could be fun to gather there, barbecue, etc.

Let's do it, but I don't know when will work best for you guys or me...Alameda would be better for me (less of a drive) especially if I could pick up Gator on the way if he's thinking about joining...thanks Mike, we'll talk more about this when I get out May 20th or so.
